Morning and Evening Skincare Routine Checklist

Give the routine you already follow a clear home, with separate morning and evening lists and a worksheet to make your own.

A skincare checklist answers a small, useful question: what did I plan to do, and have I recorded it today? It can live on paper or in an app. The helpful part is giving your morning and evening routines separate places, so they are easy to find when you need them.

Use the routine you already follow. This guide helps you write it down; it does not recommend products, decide their order, or tell you how often to use them. Follow the directions for your products and any advice you have received from a qualified healthcare professional.

Go straight to the printable checklist

1. Make two lists, in your own words

Write down the steps in your existing morning routine, then do the same for the evening. Give each entry a label you will recognize and the name of the product you use. A label such as “My morning step 1” is enough if it makes sense to you.

If your planned routine differs by day, write the relevant days beside the entry. Copy your existing schedule rather than turning every step into a daily task. Leave unused rows blank; a longer checklist is not a goal.

2. Keep the plan separate from the record

Your step list is the plan. A dated completion mark is the record. Keep both: the list tells you what you intended to do, and the record tells you what you logged on a particular day.

Fictional paper example

Monday, September 14
Morning completed at 7:42 AM
Monday, September 14
Evening not recorded

A blank record means you have no recorded completion. It does not explain why.

When using paper, you can check individual steps as you go and record a time once the planned routine is complete. If you did only part of it, write that plainly instead of marking the whole routine completed.

3. Give each new day a fresh line

Keep your step list as a reference and use a new dated line for each day. If you change your plan, add an effective date to the new version. That way, looking back at last week does not mean guessing which list you were following.

After a few days, use the weekly routine review to look at the record as a whole. The aim is a useful account of your routine, not a perfect-looking sheet.

Bring the same idea into Avina

Build a morning routine and an evening routine with your own product choices. Record a completed routine, then open that day to see its completion time and the products recorded with it. Your weekly recap brings those dated records together.

This printable sheet is a separate paper tool. Avina keeps its own routine records; it does not import the worksheet or diagnose your skin from your log.
